A major university wanted to better equip its managers and senior academic staff to conduct challenging performance-management conversations.

Corporate Actors Australia presented strategies for giving clear, sensitive feedback, asking high-gain questions and handling emotional escalation. In one-on-one roleplay sessions, participants conducted simulated high-stakes conversations with actors.

Participants reported that the program gave them significant insights into their own behaviours and how they could communicate more clearly and effectively.
